A/N: Unlike other song fics I've written, I took some advise from a good web friend, and decided to write this differently from usual. For this song, I have, but the scene, and actions, where usually, I just write lyrics. This is set when Gohan comes home from the Cell Games, and must explain to Chi Chi Goku didn't come back. It is based on the song while my Guitar Gently Weeps, performed and written by George Harrison.
While my Mother Gently Weeps
Gohan arrived home from the Cell Games, tired, and bloody from his fight with Cell, and emotionally shattered from the loss of his dad. However, little did he know that when he arrived home, his mother would wait for any news, not knowing the loss she had suffered.
"YOUR ALIVE!" Chi Chi squealed as she ran from the door to greet Gohan. She gave him a massive hug, and lifted him off the floor, which had blood from Gohan's head leaking onto it. She pulled him inside the house before she realised something was wrong.
"Honey, where's your dad?" She asked. Blood was now dripping on the tiled floor of the kitchen.
"Mom, dad's dead." Gohan said. Chi Chi began to cry.
I look at my soul and I see it's not sleeping
While my mother gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs cleaning
Still my mother gently weeps
Gohan looks up, tears running down his mother's face. She looks at her wedding ring, the diamond sparkling in the sunshine, realising, he didn't want to come back.
I don't know why nobody told Cell
That my dad was loved
I don't know how this is happening
My mother's kissing her ring
"Don't worry mom, we'll get through this." Gohan says in comfort. Chi Chi rests her head of Gohan, and cries for her dead husband.
I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my mother gently weeps
The people of Earth need to show that they're caring
Still my mother gently weeps
Chi Chi takes her head from Gohan's shoulder, wiping away her tears of embarrassment. "Oh for god's sake. He's probably on the moon."
I don't know why you were taken
I must awaken soon
My mum screams "Oh my god
He's probably on the moon"
"I need to be on my own, Gohan. Could you just give me a minute to think?" Gohan leaves the kitchen, and enters his bedroom, to the sound of a wail from his mother.
I look at my soul, and I see it's not sleeping

Look at you all...
Still my mother gently weeps.
Gohan buried his head into the pillows, and cried for his dad, not knowing the adventure that lay in store for him in the future.
