Chapter 3

She walked down the stairs of the massive Capsule Corps building, the place she called home. <Its too big.> She thought taking a look around, just like she had a million times before. Her black pleather pants hugged her hips and legs tightly, the sun showing through the windows making them shine. The low cut bottom showing her flat and well toned stomach. Her black punk tank was pleather as well. Only hinted burgundy in the light. It hugged her upper body tightly, showing her curves. Her outfit was completed with a fury, midnight colored, belt.

"Why dear, there you are" said a voice from below. A pretty woman with blonde hair, blue eyes and tan skin, smiled up at her. Bally looked down at her grandmother, Victoria Angel Briefs, with her cold, dark eyes. <Why does she continue to smile> it was more of a question than a statement. She reached the bottom. <Dont get me wrong, I love my grandmother and all, its just the giddy personality is disgusting> she reasoned with herself. She felt herself sinking again at the empty feeling in her heart. She shook her head to gain back her composer as unconsciousness threatened to try and take her.

"Are you alright dear?" asked the blonde, concern showing on her face and in her voice. Bally continued to shake her head and waved the question off. Maybe you need something to eat, said Mrs. Briefs, grabbing her granddaughters hand and pulling her into the kitchen. Much to the young womans disliking.

Victoria stopped in the doorway, let go of the teen and jogged over to the refrigerator. Now hon, what do you want? she asked, sticking her head in the fridge, and than naming off the contents and what she could make with them. Growling, and disgusted with how the morning had started, Bally looked for something else to occupy her attention. Her eyes scanned the kitchen, stopping at the table. There her twin, Trunks Manic Briefs, sat. Though they were twins, they were the exact opposite. His silk lavender hair was in a bowl cut. When standing he was 60 feet tall. His skin wasnt as pale as hers. It had a tan color to it. Contrary to her dark brown eyes, his were a sky, ice blue. Bally looked him over. Bits and pieces of syrup, pancakes, waffles, bread crumbs, oatmeal and various other foods she couldnt distinguish, were scattered all over the floor and table. Trunks himself, had his cheeks full to the impossible. Crumbs all over his face and clothes.

Noticing her, Trunks stopped chewing, swallowed, whipped his mouth, than smiled cheesily and guiltily at her. Ending it with a wave. Good morning he said. She saw him shift uncomfortable in his seat.

^Whatd I do now?^ came his voice in her mind.

She narrowed her eyes at him, and watched as he swallowed nervously.

^You disgust me^ she replied simply.

^How!?^ he shrieked.

^Your mannerisms^ she said blankly.

^Sure, okay sis, just, quit staring at me^ he grumbled.

Bally turned her attention back to her grandmother just as she said, "Well?"

"Milk" came the teens reply, her voice a monotone. Victoria blinked several times, opened her mouth to say something, but closed it. "I should have guessed", she sighed pulling a gallon out of the fridge and walking over to a cabinet. The blonde pulled out a tall, red plastic glass and set it on the counter, filling it with milk. "Hey grandma, wheres mom? "asked Trunks. Mrs. Briefs handed the glass to her granddaughter than turned to her grandson. "Well Im not sure sweetie. I think shes in her lab" Victoria said, looking blankly at the ceiling.

Bally took a drink of her milk, slowly. <Do I want the silence or not?> she asked herself. She looked around, Trunks had begun eating again and Victoria was still staring blankly at the ceiling. <Why does she have to act like a dimwit sometimes> she thought with a slight growl. She took another drink of her milk. Sighing out of frustration she didnt know what for she opened her mouth to speak. Only her grandmother beat her to it.

"Oh, is that one of the outfits your mother dressed you up in?" she asked, noticing her granddaughters attire.

<Great, the last thing I wonna talk about is clothes. Next, shell be asking me about boys> she hissed.

"Hn" Bally replied in a monotone.

Taking the hint, Mrs. Briefs changed the subject. "How about guys? Mr. Susookuis son was cute."

Bally rolled her eyes.

"How about Goten?" stated Victoria.

She froze where she stood. She could hear her brother spitting out whatever he had been drinking at the moment. <GOTEN! That insufferable baka! That idiot that doesnt even know his timetables! The man thats my brothers best friend!> enraged at the thought, she stomped away. "GRANDMA!" screeched Trunks. "Did I say something wrong?" she asked innocently.
